Journal Article 2025 09 19 Defense and security are two fundamental and intertwined components of national resilience, whose function at the macro-governance level is to ensure the internal and external security of the country. The absence of a comprehensive strategy in this field can render the Islamic Republic of Iran vulnerable to hybrid threats from hegemonic powers and terrorist movements. This study, adopting a descriptive–analytical approach and employing the method of “qualitative thematic analysis,” examines the components of the theory of comprehensive defense within the defensive-security doctrine of Imam Khamenei— a doctrine whose conceptual and practical foundations have been reinforced by the eight-year Sacred Defense experience. Data analysis (conducted using MAXQDA software) led to the identification of 125 key components, organized into nine main dimensions: political, social, cultural, economic, jurisprudential–legal, scientific, military, managerial, and psychological–spiritual. The findings indicate that this theory, relying simultaneously on the hardware and software capacities of national power, rests upon pillars such as strategic depth, culture-based authority, people-centered defense, and active resistance. As such, it can serve as an indigenous model for the design and updating of the defensive–security strategies of the Islamic Republic of Iran. دفاع و امنیت، دو مؤلفه بنیادین و درهم‌تنیده در پایداری ملی‌اند که کارکرد آن‌ها در سطح حکمرانی کلان، تضمین امنیت داخلی و خارجی کشور است. فقدان یک راهبرد جامع در این عرصه، می‌تواند جمهوری اسلامی ایران را در برابر تهدیدات ترکیبی قدرت‌های سلطه‌گر و جریانات تروریستی آسیب‌پذیر کند. این پژوهش با رویکردی توصیفی–تحلیلی و بر پایه روش «تحلیل مضمون کیفی» به واکاوی مؤلفه‌های نظریه دفاع همه‌جانبه در منظومه دفاعی-امنیتی امام خامنه‌ای پرداخته است؛ منظومه‌ای که تجربه هشت سال دفاع مقدس بنیان‌های مفهومی و عملی آن را تقویت کرده است. تحلیل داده‌ها (با نرم‌افزار مکس کیودی ای) به شناسایی ۱۲۵ مؤلفه کلیدی انجامید که در قالب ۹ بُعد اصلی (سیاسی، اجتماعی، فرهنگی، اقتصادی، فقهی–حقوقی، علمی، نظامی، مدیریتی و روحی-روانی) سازماندهی شدند. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد این نظریه، با اتکاء هم‌زمان به ظرفیت‌های سخت‌افزاری و نرم‌افزاری قدرت ملی، بر ارکانی چون عمق راهبردی، اقتدار فرهنگ‌پایه، مردم‌پایگی دفاع و مقاومت فعال استوار است و می‌تواند به عنوان الگویی بومی برای طراحی و به‌روزرسانی راهبردهای دفاعی–امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی ایران به‌کار گرفته شود. https://hds.sndu.ac.ir/article_3968_4b716f5b62c5aa3c18a2612ae7a8fb4b.pdf
