Abstract
The phenomenon of war, despite its nature and time of occurrence, is part of the history of nations and as a historical phenomenon plays a key role in shaping the identity and social and cultural life of societies. War tourism can be a key axis in cultural exchange and one of the potential aspects of tourist attractions. The main issue of the present study is to investigate the strategic operational model for the development of tourism and sacred defense museums in Khuzestan province. One of the objectives of this study is to study and analyze the obstacles and present a strategic operational model for the development of tourism of the museums of sacred defense in Khuzestan province. This research in terms of purpose; Applied and its study method was descriptive and survey type. The statistical population is all tourists and visitors to the museums of the holy defense of Khuzestan in 1399. Meanwhile, the sample size (265 people) was determined. SPSS19 software was used to analyze the data. Also, Cronbach's alpha coefficient has been used to measure the reliability of the structures. In addition, SWOT analysis has been used to present a strategic model. The results show that the most effective effect on tourism of sacred defense museums is the marketing weakness variable with a coefficient of 0.27. The results of the SWAT analysis method also suggest a systematic ST strategy.
