Abstract

Security is the basic framework and essential element for sustainable development. What is obvious is that achieving sustainable security requires a specific model. During the last 40 years, Iran has been able to deal with the threats it has faced in various ways. confront and be under the shadow of security in the path of development. After the end of the imposed war and the death of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, not only the threats and pressures of the enemies of the Islamic Revolution did not decrease, but the methods of the opponents of Islamic Iran became more complicated. However, Iran has still been able to maintain its independence and play a role as a powerful player in the region. The question is, what structures and thoughts in the field of defense issues have caused these threats to be neutralized? And what are the most important defense bases of Iran? This research aims to examine the defense model of the Supreme Leader under the title of realistic idealism and how to realize this level of security. The current research proposes the defense patterns (realistic idealism) of the leader of the revolution in achieving Iran's stable security from the perspective of constructivist and neo-realist schools as a hypothesis and uses a combination of interrogative-interpretive and qualitative-interpretive approaches as research methods.
