Regarding this, the present study by using a descriptive-analytical method and referring to documentary, Internet and library resources to, has examined two main managerial approaches in the imposed war. The findings of the research show; The Islamist forces led by Imam Khomeini were committed to a revolutionary way of warfare and comprehensive defense. Converting a wing based on religious principles, the war has become an opportunity for the consolidation of the Islamic Republic. In contrast to the nationalist and nationalist-religious forces led by Bani Sadr, they believed in the classic battle; but the position of the newly established Iranian government was not able to use it. Eventually it was eliminated by the failure of several combat operations and the dismissal of Bani-Sadr from the command and control of the presidency and ultimately, the revolutionary and all-out defense of the war was dominant.
